can anyone help me if thiers a way to get the Totals of Columns in the Client Side rather than set an Empty CellUpdate EventHnadler
i need the Total to be Calculated in Server Side rather than Client Side

Thanks for your reply ... the samples is great .. but what if i need to calculate at Client Side and not make the Post back i have in My grid 2 Summaries
1-for the Columns and i use the Column.total and sum funcation and show at summary row
2-for the Row Total and use ultraCalcManager to make the Formula of the sum
actually both of the two functions make post back and need empty UpdateCell Event handler .. i need to make both in client side without any post back
I update grid's footer using javascript and works perfectly!
I use this function below:

After just call the function!
WebCalcManager has no client-side presence, so it can't do any recalculation except on the server.
Likewise, summaries are only updated on the server.
As a workaround, I suggest that you wrap your WebGrid in either a WARP or an UpdatePanel. You'll still perform the calculations on the server, but it will be done via AJAX rather than a full-page postback.
