Today I opened up Indigo and it just sits at the initial loading screen. There's nothing out of the ordinary in my log file. Any assistance with this would be very helpful. Thank you!
Hi,
if you are on Mac Go back through the thread ... It is not the uninstall ..reinstall that fixed it ... It was the fact that you need to delete some files in the silverlight directory .. Because of the update/uninstall/reinstall that get left behind ... is the issue. can't remember but go back though the tread .. Delete the fines .. And see.
hope that help

Interesting. I am running Win 7 Pro 64bit 8GB RAM with SSD. I have Infragistics 12.1 Ultimate installed with VS 2010 Premium. I was able to get it to run once! But not able to run since. I had another window open with Silverlight running. Only the first time it loaded the Silverlight page did the app load. Have not been able to get it to run since. I also have moved the Indigo folder from docs but that didn't help. BTW...I did find a log file that might have some useful info:

Hi!
We had a number of reports with this behavior on Mac, regrettably we weren't yet able to pinpoint the issue.
People seems to be able to work around it in different ways:
1. Reinstalling SL (which I know, didn't work on your case).
2. Delete the .ni files on the Silverlight installation folder (usually located at /Library/Internet Plug-Ins/Silverlight.plugin/Contents/MacOS/CoreCLR.bundle/Contents/MacOS/i386). The .ni files are pre-compiled files created by the Silverlight installed and are not necessary to run Indigo Studio.
3. Moving the Indigo Studio folder from the Documents folder to another location, then launch Indigo Studio so it starts with a clean Documents folder. Then copying back your projects (or open them from the new location). This resets your user profile, so some options will be reseted to the default values.
4. Opening a page with another Silverlight application, and then running Indigo. You can try opening http://labs.infragistics.com/motion-framework/world-stats/.
5. Reinstalling Indigo Studio.
I would love to provide you with a more friendly set of options, but we really don't know yet why it's failing, and haven't been able to reproduce it locally. I hope one of them helps you work around the issue while we keep working at it.
Thanks, and please let us know how it goes.
Best regards, Santiago. Indigo Studio Team.
Just tried uninstalling and re-installing silverlight 5.0 and no luck. I am unable to get Indigo Studio 2 to stop spinning at the start screen.
Uninstalling and reinstalling Silverlight seemed to of did the trick for me. Apparently something in the latest update of silverlight botched Indigo. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction Dayle!
