Hi,
I'm experienced with a problem. There was something like a freeze, the Indigo Studio didn't response and after some minutes (over 10) I had to kill the process. Now it is not working. The splash screen starts but nothing else happens. I've tried to repair, reinstall, uninstall, restart some times but it didn't help. I don't know what happened it has stopped to work. I've searched for any related information in the event log but it does not have anything.
UPDATE: It is now working I deleted every temporary folder but I think maybe there is not any relation between this and the startup failure. Is that possible it needs to connect to somewhere and that service was down?
Please give me some feedback about this strange issue. Is there anybody else who has faced with this kind of issue? :)
Regads, Zsolt Molnar
Hi Zsolt,
Thanks for letting us know. One thing that we've seen happening that we could not reproduce consistently is that after a while of not using Indigo (not sure how much time), it takes some time to start working fluidly again. Like if everything was in 'hibernation mode' and needs some seconds to get back, it could be 10-20 seconds.
I'm not sure if that was what happened to you, but please if you see a similar behavior again, give it a few seconds and let us know how it went.
Regards,
Andres
I am having a similar problem to these. When I launch the indigo, the splash screen starts for a second and it appears a blank screen . No "New Storyboard"...etc. Just a blank screen.
I've tried to repair, reinstall, uninstall, restart some times but it didn't help.
Any suggestions?Thanks!

Hi, Fredrik!
If Indigo gets stuck at startup and you are in windows, can you try to the following?- Open Control Panel window. To open it: Click Start and then click Control Panel.- In the Control Panel window, click Network and Internet option, and then click Internet Options. After this step the following window should be open:- Click Connections tab, click "Lan settings" button and then uncheck the proxy server:
If you are in mac, this can happen when the Silverlight installation is broken and is unable to render the user interface of Indigo at startup. Please try the following steps http://indigo.infragistics.com/help/sl/SLErrorMac.html?id=2105.If it doesn't help, please uninstall Silverlight by following the instructions described in this link http://www.microsoft.com/getsilverlight/get-started/install/removing-silverlight-mac.aspx and then reinstall it.
Please let us know if it works for you.

After performing the previous steps you are not able to open Indigo, can you try to the following?
If you are in Windows:1. Uninstall Indigo Studio from Control Panel.2. Check if there's a folder under C:\Users\your_user\AppData\Local\Infragistics\Indigo Studio. If there's a folder there, remove it and verify it has been completely removed. If for some reason you are unable to remove the folder, please check the Windows Task Manager to see if "Indigo Studio.exe" or "Indigo Studio Preview.exe" are still running. If they are, end those tasks and try removing the folder again.3. Install Indigo Studio with latest version again.
If you are in Mac:1. Remove Indigo Studio from the Applications folder2. Install Indigo latest version again.
Please let us know if this works for you.

Hello,
I'm having trouble installing the Indigo Studio trial on my iMac. The splash screen shows and seems to be loading, but nothing happens.
I've tried reinstalling it a dozen times... the problem remains.
Do you have some advice?
Thanks,
Yaara
Hi, Yaara!
Thanks for contacting us.
This can happen when the Silverlight installation is broken and is unable to render the user interface of Indigo at startup.
