Could you please provide me some additional details regarding your scenario since 5 seconds seems too much time for loading 1000 records. Could you please provide answers to the following questions:

1) What versions of our controls are you currently using?

2) Which browser are you experiencing the issue with?

3) Are you using Knockout?

Additionally, igGrid provides some features that could be enabled in order to improve the performance, such as Virtualization and Paging.
