Hello Bala R,
Thank you for contacting Infragistics!
We received your support request concerning disabling a cell based on the other cell value in the row, and I have been assigned to assist you with this issue. Infragistics is dedicated to helping you solve this issue. Our team and I have done an initial review of the functionality you're describing and I will be doing further research and attempting to create a sample of this functionality. I will get back to you by the end of the day tomorrow with more information or questions for you.
Although this functionality may be possible when binding the igGrid, it is much more easily handled before the editing of a row or cell is happening. This allows you to disable the cells at the time the editing occurs, and has the same functionality on the surface. Please view the sample I have attached which outlines how to achieve this. Please let me know if you have any more questions, or if I can be of further assistance.
Hello Bala,
Were you able to achieve the functionality you were aiming for? Please do not hesitate to contact me with more questions.
Can you please clear up what you mean by 'disable the second cell on loading the grid and sad that cell'? I am having a bit of trouble understanding the exact functionality you are looking for, and why it must be done on load. Please respond with as much information as possible. A screenshot may be very helpful in helping me see what you are referencing. I look forward to hearing back from you.
Hi,
Thanks for your responce
My case is different, i need to do it in the grid binding itself. For example: in the row first cell has date which is less than current date then need to disable the scond cell on loading the grid and sad that cell. Can you please help as soon as possible.
Thanks in Advance.
Bala
