should the ER dash board app run 'as is' when down loaded?
??
Hello spicish222,
Thank you for posting in our community.
The Sales Dashboard & Performance Tracking Application is ready to run. All you need to do is download it and run the solution file.
However, you might need to get the correct version of the Newtonsoft.Json package from the NuGet, which for this application is Newtonsoft 4.5.11.
I am attaching a link for downloading a working application for your reference.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any additional questions regarding this matter.
Hello spicish2222,
Please let me know if you are still experiencing any issues with this matter.
I have tested the provided link and it is working fine on my side and I am able to download the sample application. Please test it again, if necessary try different browsers.
Regarding the exception I believe that something goes wrong with the connection to the database. The inner exception should have details about why the connection failed if you check that then it should contain more information about what is happening.
Since this is working on my machine it is likely to have something with the permissions of the user executing the code or something with that machine configuration with the database.
I noticed that similar issues has been discussed in the following links that you might consider helpful.
