A few of the samples seem to fail in safari. Can I please know if there is something that needs to be done for it to work?
The samples are supposed to work fine in Safari after version 6. We are using version 9+.
We have the license but this is a slightly high priority issue since the demos are failing that are on the IgniteUI website.
Export Sample launches a new tab without exporting the file : http://www.igniteui.com/grid/export-basic-grid
Filtering sample with respect to date gets stuck without filtering : http://www.igniteui.com/grid/simple-filtering

I was able to reproduce the second issue utilizing Safari.
Regarding the first issue, I was not able to see a tab opening but the excel sheet never started to download. Please provide more details on the errors you are experiencing and the environment (Mac or iOS device).
We are trying to get it working on :
OS X Yosemite - Version 10.10.5
Safari Version 9.0.3 (10601.4.4)
There are no errors in console w.r.t the export and w.r.t the filtering demo.
With the export demo, a new tab was being opened without exporting the file.
With the filtering demo, the page gets stuck at "loading" sign.
It would be helpful if there is a workaround for now until the fix is out.
I was able to reproduce these issues in my local machine and have sent these items for review for our engineering team:

We currently do not have any workarounds for the time being.
Let me know if you have any questions.
Please update to the latest version of FileSaver.js library - this should fix the issue with igGridExcelExporter in Safari.
