Greetings,
when loading child elements on demand into an igTreeGrid these elements are not sorted altough sorting is set in the ui.
Also when removing a sort all expanded tree grid element are collapsed afterwards.
Kind regards
Mohamed
Hello Mohamed,
Could you provide me with more details of how you have implemented your application? When I run the load on demand sample from the Ignite UI samples browser I am not able to reproduce this behavior:
http://www.igniteui.com/tree-grid/load-on-demand
To test I opened this sample, sorted on the First Name column, and then began expanding records. Each of the rows is sorted underneath the parent as expected. Are you seeing some other behavior?
Hello Jason,
some more details.
I'm using Sorting with OpType.Local. No paging, no filtering.
You can reproduce this behavior in the SamplesBrowser solution by applying these changes.
Then open "Load on Demand"-page, sort by "First Name" and then expand Node with ID "101".
Expanded nodes are not sorted by "First Name".
And then when Shift-Leftclicking on "First Name" header (clear sorting) the tree collapses.
Thanks for providing the details to reproduce this issue. I have logged this behavior in our internal tracking system with a Development ID of 212527. I have also created a case regarding this issue (case #: CAS-168714-C6W0G8) where you will be receiving updates. You can view your case here:
