Should we be worried about the health of Infragistics? In prior years a Vol 2 release would be imminent about now, but we've not even see a Vol 1 release yet! Other than perhaps the Windows Phone stuff, It doesn't look like anything has been updated this year. Has there been a reduction in staff, or just a major shift of resources away from the NetAdvantage products onto something else?
The Windows Forms roadmap seems pretty thin this year too, but perhaps that reflects industry trends...
This is becoming a bit of a joke now...
Jason,
Any update on this? We're trying to plan out our software release cycles and need to know if we should be pushing back our upgrade plans. Are we still looking at this week for the 2011 volume 1 release or is it going to be later ?

Hi Guys,
We are putting the finishing touches on the web site now for posting. I am expecting that Marketing will have it reviewed / ready to go tomorrow morning. All of the bits / samples are propagated on CDN so we are very close to getting 11.1 out the door. It is a great release; I am excited to get it into your hands!
I am in NYC all day tomorrow doing some talks at a tech summit we are putting on, but expect a blog post and a forum post here once we pull the trigger. You'll also get the marketing letter w/ your cd-keys once we launch.
Thanks, talk to you tomorrow!
Jason
To be honest, I prefer fewer releases if this helps improve compatability and stability of the controls. I usually fear upgrading to the latest hotfix for the ASP.NET controls to the latest version as something usually breaks, let alone a major version.
That said, this has not happened for the last two hotfixes so maybe stability is improving.
Personally, one major update a year is fine for me. The support agreement is equally to ensure you can keep supporting the latest versions of the browsers although Infragistics record recently (see very late release of IE9 support) isn't lilly white in this area.
Cheers, Rob.
I am a little confused about why volume one is being released in June... are we back down to two releases a year after making a big deal of going back to three releases last year?
Looking back, as the first post says, volume 2 was released on 15th June last year. Volume 1 was in March!
Is there a release roadmap with actual dates like previous years?
