Hi! I was wondering does Infragistics contains a WPF toolbar control (include customization window, drag and drop tools, dock) in it's current WPF libraries. If not, is there plan to create one in the future?
Just to be clear. I am not talking about ribbon bar.
Thank you,
Hi Tony,
Would you be looking for the same experience we have in the Windows Forms UltraToolbarsManager?
Thanks
Jason
Yes.
This is on our roadmap, I am not sure if we will get it in 2009 though. We are finishing up 2009.1 in the next 45 days, at that time I can give you a better idea of what is going into the sprints for 2009.2.
If you have some specific priority (in order) on what areas of Toolbar would be most important, please let me know.
Hi Jason,
Can we have an update now that 2009.2 is out?
Thanks,
Terry
Not sure what you mean by in-box toolbar.
Yes, WPF has a System.Windows.Controls.ToolBar and System.Windows.Controls.ToolBarTray. I was wondering if you were going to supercharge them like the xamTabControl or the xamDockManager did the std TabControl. It would be good if there was xamDockManager-like management of toolbars (drag and drop, dock, mgmt dialog, etc.) with multiple trays.
My query was more whether there is something on the roadmap than a specific feature request.
Regards,
Hi Terry,
We looked at this and were questioning the value we would add over the capabilities that are in the in-box toolbar. Are you looking at the benefit coming from the design time experience of easily adding new tools or are there scenarios you have that the existing toolbars in WPF are not hitting?
Thanks for any info ...
