IG Backlog for 10/27/17

So much news, but this week we’ll (kind of) stick to tech.

1. Dis-kinect-ed – Microsoft told Fast Company in an exclusive interview that they are no longer going to manufacture the Kinect, but that the technology will live on. ZDNet explains why accessibility matters and Business Insider speculates on why it didn’t take off.
2. Cha-ching – CNBC reports that Amazon, Alphabet, Microsoft, and Intel all beat expectations in their earnings releases this week. See more analysis from the Financial Times, The Wall Street Journal and Bloomberg.
3. Zombie Apocalypse – Okay, you might live without this one, but in honor of Halloween, check out what Gizmodo is calling the “Tastiest Zombie Apocalypse.”
