Hi, we found out whenever update DataSource to a new collection, ActiveDataItem is set automatically, so the first item in the collection is selected, however, due to sorting in the grid, the selected row isn't always the first row displayed in the grid. It looks like random row is selected in the grid.
It doesn't happen when clear the old collection and add new items into old collection, it only happens when it's set with a brand new collection. Is there a property to disable the auto select?

I have been looking into it. I created a sample application based on your scenario and I could not managed to reproduce the behavior that you have described. If you are not able to reproduce the issue with the attached sample application, would you please modify it with the functionality, that you are using, so it reproduces the issue.
