Hi,
I can't make cell to auto size itself when grid is in the Horizontal mode. It it trimmed when I set Width to Auto. I've attached sample project to this post.

After working on the functionality that you are trying to achieve and doing some research, the ability to se Width property of Field to the auto size, when using horizontal orientation of XamDataGrid has been determined to be a new product idea.
