We've recently upgraded from 2012.2 to 2014.2 and I noticed a change in how XamDataGrid works. Previously, clicking on a checkbox within a cell would change the checkbox state. It now requires two clicks. One click to give the cell focus, and a second click to change the state. Is there anyway to restore this two a one click process? I have searched for a solution and saw other posts about setting the CellClickAction to EnterEditModeIfAllowed. However, I already have it setup this way (and it was working in fine in the previous version).
One other thing I've noted is that it works properly with the default theme. I'm using Office2010Blue, which exhibits the behavior described above.
Hello Jason,
We have shipped out a new service release where your issue is resolved. I'd be glad to find out if you had tested it out and if it had met your requirements.
You can download the Service Releases by logging to our web site and going to Account\My Keys and Downloads.
Thank you for your post.
I have logged this behavior with our developers in our tracking system, with an issue ID of 193335. I have also created a support ticket on your behalf with number CAS-155819-S8Q0K3 in order to link the development issue to it so that you are automatically updated when a Service Release containing your fix is available for download.
I tried running the installer to get the updates, but it says there are no updates available. I'm assuming this means I'm already running the latest release. The product version I have is 14.2.20142.2178
I have been investigating the behavior that you have described. It seem that it was an issue that was fixed in higher versions. The behavior that you have described is not reproducible with latest version of Infragistics 14.2 controls. The best approach that I can suggest is to upgrade your project to the latest version 14.2.
Please let me know if you require any further assistance on the matter.
