Attached is a xamGrid that isn't allowing columns to move. My app targets .Net 4 and runs on Windows 8.1 pro.
The factor that seems to cause the problem is nesting the XamGrid in a XamDockManager (within the document content host).
Some preliminary testing seems to indicate that Windows 7 doesn't have a problem.
Can someone please help?
Will you let me know as soon as we get some feedback from them? I'd love to get a work-around if one can be found. I'm trying to use the dock manager for the first time and don't want it creating limitations on the data grid. Otherwise the users will get a bad first impression of the dock manager and will start giving me grief about using that control.
I'm curious if you can tell me whether the bug has more to do with the xamGrid or the dock manager. (IE. would your xamDataGrid be any less likely to have the same issue... because of a better design or some other reason). I want to know how to pick my battles when it comes to selecting from the IG controls.
