I have a xamGeographicMap WPF window hosted in a WinForm-interop situation where the XamGeoMap window is started in a separate thread from the main WinForm UI menu.  Opening the map window once works without issue, but opening a second instance causes the application to crash with the error shown below.  I have attached a sample application, just push "button1" two times to see the crash (a new WPF window/xamGeoMap in a separate thread is created and opened each time the button is pressed).  If I just open the WPF window in the main WinForms thread, it works as expected.
