I am working on a WPF application in which I have a textbook which is used to search for stuff and based on what the user enters in the textbox, a list of autocomplete options shows up in a XamContextMenu (imagine it being like the Ubuntu HUD). My goal is to make the XamContextMenu transparent (please see the link below for what I am envisioning) but I cannot figure out how to go about achieving it. Everything about the XamContextMenu is done in code behind for now.

Hi,
Development has addressed the issue you raised and the Opacity can now be correctly applied in the latest service releases, WPF_12.2.20122.2292, WPF_13.1.20131.2230, and WPF_13.2.20132.2005.
They added an AllowsTransparancy property to the xamContextMenu for WPF which sends the value to the popup hosting the xamContextMenu.
This service release is now available under your account at the Infragistics Website. Log into your Account and select Keys & Downloads. Then select the appropriate tab for this product and your license key and the available service releases (Hot Fixes) should now be listed on the page.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you Marianne!
In the process of creating a solution for you I found unexpected behavior for the XamContextMenu when using NetAdvantage for WPF 2013.1 and setting the Opacity level. As a result I have submitted a development issue on your behalf.
I am in the process of creating a private case for you so that you can recieve updates about the issue. You'll hear from me shorly thru the case.
