How can I use 3 colors for the RangeAreaSeries?
posted

I would like to have the high value, low value and the area between different colors. Is that possible or do I need to plot the high and low as separate line series on the same chart to fake that appearance?

    Hi Mike,

The RangeAreaSeries has a single brush that it applies to fill the area with so this won't do it for what you need.  The easiest way would be to have three series in your chart, one for the high area, one for the low area and one for inbetween.  The series has a Brush property that will allow you to assign a color of your choice.

You can get away with one collection if you like where you have two sets of high/low properties for each section.  Also your data needs to line up properly so you don't see any gaps.  The top section's Low needs to match the middle section's High and similarly for the rest.

Let me know if you have any questions on this.
