Sort in the UI doesn't synchronize into the datasource

Hi, I have a datagrid whose datasource is binding to a observablecollection. After I click the column header and apply the sort, the observablecollection is not sorted. Is there a way to archieve this? Thank you!

    I have been looking into your enquiry, however there is no built-in functionality that would synchronize the underlying DataSource with the XamDataGrid’s Records, since there are too many types of data that can be used. Nevertheless I can suggest you look into this forum thread where Stefan has shown a custom approach on how the XamDataGrid’s sorting and filtering can be replaced with the DataSource ones’, which seems to be the closest thing to your requirement, which will not result in a performance overhead: http://es.infragistics.com/community/forums/p/63907/323428.aspx
