I'm creating a chart in Expression Blend but for some reason the CHart Data section does not appear. Any idea why? I am using Expression 2.5 March 2008 release and the latest net advantage release.
Hi Martin,
Please confirm that you have the xamChart selected in Blend and that you have scrolled the Properties section all the way to the bottom. It should appear at the very bottom of the list of property sections.
If yoiu still cannot get the Chart Data properties to appear in Blend, do you see any other problems? Does the chart work in BLend otherwise? I am also using the March Beta 2 Preview and the latest NetAdvantage for WPF and do not see the problem.
Please let me know what you find.
Thank you,
Curtis
yes, everything else seems to work ok, see below for a screen shot. Where can I send you a screen shot?
If you would please open a developer support issue at:
http://devcenter.infragistics.com/Protected/SubmitSupportIssue.aspx
The support team can work with you in trying to solve this issue. It may be solved by removing a cache file somewhere or resetting a preference.
Until support finds a solution to the problem, there are a few work-arounds.
Download Expression Blend 2 Feb 2008 Beta release at:
http://www.microsoft.com/expression/products/download.aspx?key=blenddownloads
If this version has the same problem. Please let us know.
If Feb 2008 Beta has the same problem, you could use version 1 to edit the Chart and then you could copy and paste the XAML into your project. Blend 1 is not compatible with Visual Studio 2008 projects so you would have to copy and paste the XAML.
Or you could edit the XAML directly. Our reference documents show how to edit the properties in XAML.
Finally, send the screenshot to my email address and I will get back to you if I see the problem from the image.
