I'd like to change the color of my column headers, but even when styling the LabelPresenter and setting their background to Transparent, they are still displayed in grey (window background is black, so ideally we'd like them to have black background and white foreground).
Any suggestions?

I think its inheriting the background thats the reason the LabelPresenter is not working, you may have to clear the background (ClearValue), or set yr XamDataGrid to a theme like Oynx.

That's what I tried, but didn't work.
Onyx theme works almost perfect for us. Is there any way to change the foreground color of the labels on the GroupBy area? In Onyx they're white in light orange background. Would like to have them in black foreground.
Is it posible to use the Onyx theme and use a GroupByAreaFieldLabelStyle? We've just tried but doesn't seem to pick the style up.
Ok, have sorted that out by having a DataTrigger on the IsInGroupByArea property
