I need to pre-set a filter value for one of the fields. So that when a grid loads, user gets to see filtered records only (for instance, only show checked values in a bool column).
Please suggest how can i achieve that.

Thank you for your post. I have been looking through it and I suggest you look in our online documentation where it is described to apply Filter to a specific field in XAML. This filter will apply when the XamDstaGrids loads. Here is a link to that particular section:
