I am currently setting my chart with Major and Minor tickmarks. If my Y axis max is 10, and I set my major tick units to 2 (with minimum of 0), it will set the major tick intervals at 2,4,6,8, 10.
I am setting this major tickmark to a specific color and stroke thickness. Now, if I set the minor tickmark unit to 1, and set the stroke to a different color, it will add this to the major tickmark line as well if the stroke setting is different than the minor tick stroke setting.
How can I set xamchart to not display the minor tickmark if it falls in line with the major tickmark?
One option is to set the minor units to another number so that it will never fall into the same as the major units tickmark, but the units are set by the user, and this may result.
Is there another option?
Thanks
Hello again,
I am just checking the progress of this issue and was wondering if you managed to achieve your goal or if you need any further assistance on the matter.
Hello,
It has been a while since you have made your post, in case you still need support I will be glad to assist you further. I suppose the other community members can benefit from this answer as well. I have been looking through your post and after some tests I found out that if the StrokeThickness of the MajorTickMark is greater than the one of the MinorThickMark by 1 everything looks normal, so I suggest you do so and set them this way.
Feel free to write me if you have further questions.
