Fileld names are no longer included (included by default in previous versions) in the "group by area" location when expanded within a grid window. Is there a way to add the fields back so one doesn't have to drag the field headers from the grid itself?

In version 9.2, we added the ability to drag from the field headers (i.e. the LabelPresenters) in the view into the group by area as well as the ability to group the fields of nested field layouts. As part of this the GroupByAreaMode property was added and the new functionality was enabled by default. If you want to use the behavior that was available previously you can set the GroupByAreaMode property to DefaultFieldLayoutOnly.

If I got this right you just need to set the "GroupByAreaMode" to "DefaultFieldLayoutOnly". This will bring back the behavior with the buttons in the GroupByArea, instead of using the fields' labels for grouping.
