We currently use ChartFx for our Windows Forms application. We are porting our application to WPF so we are evaluating XamChart.
We use ChartFx's Export method to export our chart as metafiles. I didn't see any options for exporting charts in the XamChart. Do you plan to add a similar feature in near future?
Another question -- does Infragistics WinForm Chart control interoperates with XamChart? By interoperates, say is it possible to save settings of XamChart in XML file and then import that XML file in the Winform Chart control?

the feature is not currently scheduled, but if you visit that feature request page, you will increase the likelihood of it being implemented soon.
I found this post from March regarding the import/export. The WinForms version worked very well for what I was trying to do and was a feature I relied on, so I was disappointed to see this functionality was not included in the WPF charting.
I'm at the point now where I need to dedicate some time to restoring a chart based on end user setup and would like to know if this will be included any upcoming releases or updates?

Right now we do not support exporting or importing settings to XML file and exporting chart to meta data. We appreciate your suggestions and ideas and you can always request a feature using this site: http://devcenter.infragistics.com/protected/requestfeature.aspx
