Suppose I am in a time zone ahead of UTC time, If 22-sept-2010 is my desktop date but the UTC date is 21-sept-2010. In tht case if i want to set today in XamDateTimeEditor, it is displaying today's date in todaysbutton caption. But it is highligting nextday in the calendar that is 22-sept-2010. I have been looking into your issue and tried reproducing it with no success:
I was wondering if you could provide me with a more detailed description of your environment so I am sure I am replicating everything correctly. For instance your OS (bits), CLR, NetAdvantage specific version and also the exact time zone since I did my tests with a UTC-2 one.

I have been trying to replicate your scenario and even created a Virtual Machine in order to replicate the environment and still everything worked as expected. If you still have that issue I can only suggest there is something in your project to cause it. Please let me know if you are able to isolate it in a sample which I can test out.

Please download and install the latest available Service Release for it and tell me if you can still reproduce the issue.
