I've got 2010.1 installed and using controls like the ribbon. Somehow everything Infragistics was removed from my VS 2010 toolbox so I tried to manually recreate a tab and add. Everything showed up, except anything from the data presenter library. I tried to manually add it by browsing to the assembly, but it still won't add the data grid. Ideas?
I haven't tried it just yet because I have other 3rd party things in the toolbox and I don't want to just ditch them & have to manually readd them as well. Looking for other options honest and will revert to this as last resort.
Actually even when I try to add the items back to the toolbox, I don't see the grid as an option. I'm looking at the Assemblies named Infragistics3.Wpf.* but don't see a grid listed. The only thing showing up in the Infragistics.Windows.DataPresenter namespace is SummaryCellPreseterLayoutElement.
However when I reflect the assembly that is installed, I see the XamDataGrid object so it gets added, I just can't use it.
Hello,
I was wondering if the link helped you to resolve this issue?
Thanks.
I am sorry you have run into this problem. Toolbox issues occur from time to time when a new product is installed or upgraded. Usually the process of manually adding the controls resolves it. Have you tried deleting the .tdb files of the toolbox. Here is a walkthrough on how you can do this.
