I believe there is no clean way around this issue. You can try setting some margins for the LabelPresenters or retemplating this area, but this will affect the XamDataGrid when it is not grouped.

This is a known issue. This happens only when you group the XamDataGrid in the xaml. If you group by this field through the Group Area UI this will not happen.
