Row Spanning (Cell Merging) within XamDataGrid control ?

Hy,

I wanna span some multiple cells into one cells if all of those cells contain a similar value. Can I achieve that using XamDataGrid control?. I know we can change the Field Layout properties. But that applies to the whole field (Column spanning). In a nutshell this is wat I want!

I have bound the XamDataGrid.DataSource to a DataTable MS Sql Server Data Table.
