Password editor?

I noticed that there is no password editor among the editor controls. I suppose you could simulate it with a XamMaskedEditor, but how secure would this be? What would be a good solution to get similiar functionality within the IG editors framework?

    I would like to know if this is possible also since this is one of the items that I would like to be able to use a theme on also.
