I'm racking my brains on this one.  For the life of me I cannot understand why the XamMultiColumnComboEditor displays the end of the selected item, instead of the beginning, when the length exceeds the width of the drop-down.  I found two different posts with answers, but neither worked.  The first, Display Issue, and the second, XamMultiColumnComboEditor cursor position.  The second one actually got me the closest.  I actually saw things displayed properly and then all of the XamMultiColumnComboEditor controls reverted right back to displayin the end of the string instead of the beginning.  What is the actual fix for this?
