if there are only two images in carousel panel which one is selected?

hello,

I have an issue with the xamcarouselpanel, it looks all nice and centered when there are 3 or more items in the panel, but if there are only 1 or 2 then i cannot tell which one is selected. is there anyway based on firstitemindex or another way to center that particular image?
