xamSpreadsheet crashing problem

We have encountered NullReferenceException thrown during execution of the  ExitEditModeAndUpdateActiveCell spreadsheet command. The following steps reproduce the issue:

  • Select any dropdown cell.
  • Enter any invalid value into the cell via Edit mode.
  • Without exiting from Edit mode, click on the Formula Bar.
  • Press "Cancel" on the Dialog prompt.

How can we avoid NullReferenceException in this scenario? A sample application which reproduces the issue is attached. SpreadsheetCrash.zip

    Hello Tomas,

    I have been investigating into the behavior you are seeing, and I am able to reproduce this exception with the sample project you provided both with an invalid value as well as a valid one when clicking into the formula bar and executing the ExitEditModeAndUpdateActiveCell command.

    This behavior is unexpected, and as such I have asked our engineering staff to examine it further. I have logged this behavior in our internal tracking system with a development ID of 273025.
