There was a talk some time back on this forum that Infragistics would put some resource to help we (poor) developer. They would answer our prayers ( questions posted on forum). But sad to see that it is not happening, a lot of queries still goes unanswered, when we need to implement some feature on top of XamDataGrid or any other control that is not obvious/easy to implement, it is really helpful if some one from Infragistics can answer or suggest a way and save us time, money, from pain and every thing that is valuable.
Is some kind person in infragistics listening ? !!
Thanks,
Naveen
Hello,
We at Infragistics are with you. We do wish for the forums to be a place for users to share their content, solutions, and questions. And it is a place where various individuals at infragistics (engineers, support engineers, trainers, consultants, visual designers, product managers, and evangelists) come together to share our solutions with users. Currently, we are experiencing a great volume of posts. As a result, it takes longer for our team members to get to every post. We are working hard to ensure no post goes unanswered. To receive more immediate answers to questions, we offer various support options including chat, email, and telephone support. Otherwise, we hope to respond to your post in a timely manner. If you have posted a request or question which is taking an inordinate amount of time to answer, please send us an email. Support, product management, and services are all available to respond to your emails.
Thanks you!
I've read several times now that the forums are intended for peer use. That does take place to some extent, but clearly 98% of your customers are looking for and expect official support via these forums. When I'm in a dev cycle, I live in the forums, performing searches for previous discussions. Frankly, the online help is terrible so these forums are our best bet. By submitting individual help requests, the community as a whole does not benefit.
I really think it's in everybody's best interest if we could get a bit more support via the forums. Anytime official Infragistics folks have responded to my requests here, it's helped resolve me issues and left a nice audit trail for everyone else.
Hi,
My name is Curtis. I am a senior consultant here at Infragistics. I and various other techs at Infragistics spend time scanning the forums when we can to participate. The forums are a place for users to interact and share their problems and solutions with each other. Since the NetAdvantage for WPF controls are standard WPF controls, there are usually various solutions and multiple approaches to a problem. It is my hope that users share their solutions on the forums to enrich our entire community. I will often provide solutions as a fellow developer would on these forums. Usually my posts are based on my own programming experience. Another engineer may find a better solution to a problem.
As someone has already mentioned, the developer support options are a better medium for getting immediate support for specific problems or for reporting defects.
Developer support can be accessed at the following website:

Thanks!
If you bought the controls, you'll probably want to submit a support request via the infragistics dev center rather than the forums. ive found the support response time rather quick, i've got mine the next day (yet, the forum post with the same content is still unanswered). so, yeah, try the dev center instead.
I don't think there is anyone watching these forums. I've asked two questions gone un-answered for 3 days now. Not even a "We'll look into it"
