UltraToolbarsManager - Quick Access Toolbar styling
posted

Hello!

I have added one button to the quick access toolbar in the ultratoolbarsmanager.

I have applied the AppStyle RubberBlack.isl and the button looks a bit strange.

As far as I can see, the majority of the other predefined styles look great, but this
shows the borders, and the transparent background is gone.

Does anyone know how to get rid of this appearnace.

The attached image shows what I mean. I used the local Infragistics sample
AppStylist - Style library Browser and just added a UltraToolbarsManager control and a button
in the quick access toolbar.

/Henrik

    Hello Henrik,

Thank you for contacting Infragistics Developer support.

This is happening because in the RubberBlack.isl file, there is a resource attached to the Normal state of the ToolbarItemButton element. This resource file makes the button have a solid background, instead of transparent. What you could do is to remove that resource. You can locate the .isl files in a location like: C:\Users\Public\Documents\Infragistics\NetAdvantage 2013.1\Windows Forms\AppStylist for Windows Forms\Styles

I have uploaded a YouTube video, which shows you how to do it. You can find it if you follow this link:

Note: When you highlight the toolbar button press “1” to open the panel with its setting or you can go through the navigation menu on the left.

Please let me know if you have any additional questions.
