Since I updated to the newest (12.1) Infragistics WPF and WinForms Controls, my Win Forms Toolbox can't be created/initialized anymore. As soon as I try to open my Toolbox in Visual Studio 2008 (Win 7 x86) VS freezes and I have to kill my Visual Studio.
I already try to use to Infragistics Toolbox update tool, but this fails as well. Could this be because I've already a lot of .NET Advantage versions installed? Can I uninstall the unused?
Thanks for any hint...
Hello Jonas,
You could try resetting the toolbox, please take a look at the following links:

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you need any additional assistance.
I wanted to know if you were able to solve your issue based on these suggestions or you still need help. Please let me know.
I've just figured out, that the toolbox-initialization isn't hanging but took extremly long. Some of the IG-controls needed up to 20 seconds for this step (one can see this by activating the VS-logging). The question is why?
Because I've had more than 100 IG controls this step took ages. I finally uninstalled some older IG-Versions and the toolbox-initialization step took 45 minutes.
Actually, my VS 2008 toolbox is working again...
