I developed the application using UltraWinGrid 6.3 and works fine. Sometime ago I compiled the project with Microsoft visual studio 10 on different PC that did not have Grid 6.3 but it had Grid 8.3.
So far, there are no issues.
My question is, Can I install UltrawinGrid 6.3 on PC that has UltraWinGrid8.3 already installed ?
Okay, so you are using the Infragistics Toolbox Utility to add the NetAdvantage controls into the toolbox.
My guess is that since v6.3 was release nearly 4 years before the release of VS2010, the Toolbox utility installed with NetAdvantage for that version doesn't work with VS2010.
So you will probably need to just add the items to the toolbox yourself. Installing a newer version of NetAdvantage and using the newer version of the Toolbox Utility might also work.
I used infragistics 6.3 wingrid control in my project developed in vb.net VS5 framework 2.0. At some point I had to move my project to VS10 on different machine that had no infragistics 6.3 installed. I had no issue porting the app to vs10.
Now, I need to add some functionality to the app and for that I installed ingragistics 6.3 so that I can use them in design mode. I installed infragistics 6.3 and I was trying to "Create NetAdvantage Visual Studio ToolBox Tab" so that I can use the controls from the VS10 ToolBox.
I got the error when I selected the option Create NetAdvantage Visual Studio ToolBox Tab". And it takes me to

Hi,
I've never heard of an error like that before. Could you be a little more specific about exactly what you are doing when the error occurs? Are you using the Infragistics Toolbox Utility? Or are you trying to add the items to the toolbox from within Visual Studio?
Thanks,
I installed the v6.3.
When I try to update Microsoft VS10 toolbox, I get the error "Install Path and Toolbox assembly path do not match". currently I have infragistics 8 controls available in toolbox.
Please advise.
Yes, you can. You can install different major versions on the same machine and they have no effect on each other. I have about 8 different versions on my machine.
