Hi,
Our application crashed after upgrading from infragistics winforms 7.3 to version 10.3 . We noticed that the memory foot print increased considerably. We compared the memory footprint of application with 7.3 and 10.3 and found that 10.3 takes up more memory. Is there any kind of a memory leak in 10.3? How can we safely upgrade from 7.3 to 10.3 and what are the items that we should look out for while upgrading. We have now moved back to 7.3.

Since the base version of Infragistics 10.3 to the latest service release 2145, we had made a lot of improvements about memory usage, so my suggestion is to test your application with the latest service release of Infragistics 10.3. Also I recommend to review the following link with WinGrid Performance Guide (please note “Memory Usage” section), where Mike Saltzman gave some common rules about using of UltraWinGrid, which could help you for this issue:
