Fire ToolClick but don't close a popup menu?

I'm ideally looking for an e.Cancel type event or a BeforeToolCloseUp event.

The idea is that the user can click on multiple menu items from a nested popup tool without having to continually navigate to that popup tool via the structured menu system.

Thanks Mike! I'll do just that. In the meantime my workaround will either be nothing, or a dialog allowing them to multiselect/click a load of buttons.

This is currently not possible. You could submit it as a feature request.
