Is it possible to hide a task in the GanttView control? and if so will it not consume the screen space?

We could do with this feature too, or the ability to insert blank rows in the grid and timeline. We want to do this to make it easier for the user differentiate between groups of different types of tasks.

If you want to hide child tasks of a task you could use CollapseAll() method of the task object.
