Button Group Appearance
posted

Hi there,

i have placed some buttons on my ribbon into an Button Group to reconstruct the office text formatting...

in office, each button within the button group is flat and transparent as you can see below:

The IG Toolbars Manager makes the buttons within the button group back-colored and bordered by default as you can see below:

How can i change the appearance that the buttons look like the office buttons?

thanks a lot.

    Hello,

    I think that I managed to achieve this using the 'AppStylist'. My steps are:

    1. File-> New Style Library...(personally I chose the Office2010Blue.Isl).

    2. Click on 'Ribbon'.

    3. Hover on a 'StateButton'("B", "U", "I") and hit '1' on your keyboard (does not matter if hit on the NumPad).

    4. On the bottom you will notice the 'Background' tab.

    5. You could change many things, personally I prefer to add my own resource from the 'Resources' Group.

    You could try the above steps and let me know if they worked for you.
