Sorry for the late response, I had to change my priorities for a while. The proposed solution is working fine for an ExplorerBar using the "ExplorerBar" Style.

Unfortunately, I was looking to use the "OutlookNavigationPane" style (my bad on not mentionning this in my initial post). I will have a look at the link you provided on creation filter and try to follow your example.
