I created few Usercontrols for my applications.
I setup an ultratooltipmanager on the owner form, so I can setup an ultratooltip title and text to the user control that is well displayed while letting the mouse over the background of the usercontrol.
But if the mouse is over (for example) one of the docked pannels inside the usercontrol, then the tooltip is not displayed, the mouse must be excatly left on the real usercontrol's background, not one of the nested controls elements !
How Can I achieve to display the same tooltip (setup in the owner's form design view) when the mouse is over the usercontrol, without any differences if there's an embedded control within the user control at the location the pointer is !
Thanks for your feedback!
Hello,
I believe I managed to reproduce your scenario. Please review my sample and see if it is satisfying enough for you.
If you have any further question please do not hesitate to ask.
Hi Borris Thanks for your code, I see we must write additional code for the user controls to work properly .
Mayb a good FR should be to have a property on the tooltip control to say to autopopulate the child controls nested in a user control ?
