About two months ago I had opened a support request and thought we had fixed the issue.

It turns out the issue wasn't fixed, but we had just replaced our custom grid with a grid which has default settings.  Once we applied our own custom settings the Red X of Death started appearing again whenever the grid data source had a tab character in it.  We were never able to reproduce the issue for you, but now we can. :p

The issue is related to the following setting when set to FormattedText.

DisplayLayout.Override.CellAppearance.CellDisplayStyle

When we set this to Default the issue goes away.

Attached is a sample of the issue using the latest grid.  The issue I believe is related to the tab characters.  Thanks for looking into this.
