Hi,
I am using 9.2. I would like the Ribbon to fade away when collapsing after it was on floating mode (as it does in Office2007) but could not find any the property I could use to do so. I would have thought that default values would adhere to office standards.
Thanks
Javier
I logged this behavior in our system. You can get informed about this issue or submit any further questions on the following support ticket, created for you : CAS-45429-5YBPFB

I can recreate the behaviour described with the simplest of examples. Create a new form, add a toolbarsManager, show the ribbon, and add a sample tab and group. Run the app. When the ribbon is not visible, clicking once on the tab will drop it down over the form. Clicking anywhere on the form hides it - but the difference with Office2007 is that the ribbon hides straight away, instead of fading away nicely as in any of the Office2007 applications.
By default the Office2007UICompatibility is set to true so I would expect all the default properties to behave exactly like Office2007.
I tried to set the MenuAnimationStyle to Fade but didn't help
Thanks, Javier
Could you please attach screenshots or more detailed description of what you mean, because the behavior seems to me the same in both cases. Here is an article about Using Microsoft Office 2007 UI Capabilities. I hope it is helpful.
Sincerely,
