I have several saved layouts from version 7.3. When I moved up to v8.3 the layouts will not load. Is there a way to convert saved layouts to a later version without having to recreate them?

Hi Ted,
You are better off re-creating them when moving from volume to volume. The reason is that the objects being persisted can vary, especially when leaping over more than just one volume. Loading an old layout to a newer version of a control may cause problems as I have encountered in the past. To be 100% sure, I essentially delete any saved layout files for the various controls and this causes the end-user to recreate their views which then get saved in the new format.
