Hi,
I have a grid with two bands each containing more than 170 columns. When I export the grid to PDF using Doc Exporter, the generated PDF is coming as blank. Where am I going wrong?
Any help would be highly appreciated.
Regards,
Mayank
Hi Mayank,
Hm... this could be a limitation of the PDF format or the PDF reader.
The exporter will increase the page size of the PDF document to fit all of the grid columns on a single page. So if your columns are wide enough to contain even a few letters each, that would be a pretty huge page size.
Hi Mike,
Thanks for the reply. I was able to get a workaround by hiding the grid columns and exporting it in groups of 50 columns.
To answer your questions, yes, I am able to export other grids to PDF by using the same code. The exported PDF is Ok. I guess it has something to do with the number of columns that the grid contains. If the grid contains too many columns, may be the PDF is not exported correctly.

I've never heard of that happening before. Are you able to get it to work with other grids? Do the samples work? Are you able to view other PDF files that were not created by the grid?
