Dear Infragistics,
I just installed Infragistics NetAdvantage for .NET v. 2009.1 and I only seem to find online help.
As I'm sure you've put a lot of effort into the online version, I do prefer the offline version due to its better performance and that it doesn't look good at all in the latest Firefox.
Can I get my hands on an offline help file?
Thank you.
SabbeRubbish
Dear Tom,
The installer does exactly what I was hoping it would do.
Thank you very much for your correct and to-the-point answer.
I've signaled the problem in my organisation to the responsible manager.
Thank you!
Thank you for the download link.
I am downloading it right now and will give you feedback once I've installed it.
I just copied the Zip file that contains the help installers for the 2009.1 release. You can download it here:
http://download.infragistics.com/users/TomP/NetAdvantageHelp20091.zip
The person in your company that has access to the downloads should also be able to download the file as well. I posted it here for your convenience. Hope this helps.
Hi Tom,
Firstly, thank you for answering my questions this quickly.
The zip files with the words "Help" in them, only contain PDF documents:
NetAdvantageWindowsForms_20091_1000_PDFHelp:- Win Forms Class Diagrams 9.1.zip: - *.pdf- Windows Forms Help PDFs 9.1: - *.pdf
Am I missing something?
Hi SabbeRubbish,
We have stopped supporting CHM files for a few years now. However, you can install the local, Visual Studio integrated help. The zip files with the words "Help" in them contain the help installers. When installing this help, make sure you give it time as the process to merge the help collections into Visual Studio can take up to 20 something minutes (depending on the installer).
