Hi,Want to copy items from a grid but the group headers are not included. Column headers are. How do I include group headers?

The exporter works in a completely different way from copy and paste. It has a lot more functionality, because it writes the Excel file directly to the hard drive, it doesn't go through the clipboard.
I imagine there might be some clipboard format for Excel that includes the ability to copy and paste merged cells. In fact, there must be in order for this to work when you copy and paste from Excel to Excel.
But the grid currently doesn't support this. You should Submit a feature request to Infragistics
mmmm, that's a pity. Funny though that the ExcelExport component you folks have does actually include the group headers.
There's no way to do this with the built-in functionality in the grid. A Group header could span multiple column headers, so I'm not sure if this would be possible to paste into excel in such as way as to merged the cells of the group headers.
