We are using the desktop alerts to display historical about out jobs and therefore the desktop alert body text size indeterminate. Currently when we hit an item with large content the alert expands up and beyond the top of the screen and it is very difficult to get the alert back on screen to move or close it.
My questions are:
1) Is there a common approach to handling large or indeterminate sizes.
2) Is it possible to stop the alert scroll off the top of the screen and ellispsing contents to fit?
3) Is it possible to have scrollbars within the alert and limit the size?

The component was designed for the display of relatively small amounts of text. Having said that, the behavior you describe here sounds like a bug, i.e., we are not restricting the size of the alerts so that they get no bigger than the screen size. You might want to submit an incident.
